Terms of Service
Last updated: 13 October 2026
These Terms apply to everyone who uses the See-Curity GPS tracking platform at dev.see-curity.net. By ticking “I accept” when you sign in, you agree to them. If you use the platform for a company, you accept them for that company too.
1. Who we are
The platform is provided by See-Curity, run by Justyna Biernat, London NW7 2PE, United Kingdom (“See-Curity”, “we”, “us”). “Customer” means the company or person that has ordered the service, directly or through one of our partners. “User” means anyone who signs in.
2. The service
See-Curity shows the position and status of vehicles fitted with a tracker on a live map, keeps their history, produces reports, and sends alerts by WhatsApp and e-mail. Some trackers also accept remote commands, such as cutting the engine. What is included, and the price, are set out in the Customer's order or invoice, or in the agreement with the partner who sold it.
SIM cards. Trackers run on the Customer's own SIM cards or on See-Curity M2M SIM cards, which are part of the platform subscription. See-Curity SIM cards are machine-to-machine (M2M) SIM cards, supplied only for use in the See-Curity tracker they were delivered with. Using one in any other device (a phone, router, modem or another tracker) is not allowed: we may suspend the SIM at once, charge for the data used, and end the SIM option of the subscription for that device. Mobile service depends on network coverage and is not guaranteed everywhere: buildings, underground car parks, interference or deliberate jamming can weaken or block the signal.
3. Accounts
- Keep your password secret and do not share your account. Each person should have their own.
- Company Admins are responsible for the users they create and for removing users who should no longer have access.
- Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
4. Lawful use – the Customer's responsibilities
Tracking shows where people are. The Customer must therefore make sure that:
- it has the legal right to track every vehicle on its account: it owns or leases the vehicle, or has the owner's permission;
- everyone who drives or travels in a tracked vehicle is told about the tracking before it starts: what is recorded, why, who can see it and for how long. Our Driver notice is a ready-made template for this;
- it has a lawful reason for the tracking under the data protection and employment law that applies to it, and follows any rules on works councils, staff consultation or private use of vehicles;
- it does not use the service to follow or watch anyone secretly or unlawfully, or for any criminal purpose.
See-Curity cannot check who fits a tracker, who drives a tracked vehicle or who follows it on the platform. The Customer alone is responsible for having the right to track each vehicle and, where the law requires it, the consent of the people who drive it.
For the vehicle data, the Customer is the “controller” and See-Curity is its “processor”. Our Data Processing Agreement forms part of these Terms.
5. Your data and how long we keep it
- The Customer keeps all rights in its data. We use it only to provide the service.
- Tracking history is kept for up to 12 months and then deleted automatically. If you need it for longer, export your reports before then.
- When the service ends, we delete the Customer's data, as described in the Data Processing Agreement.
- Support access. To give support, fix faults and keep the platform secure, See-Curity's own support staff (the platform's Super Admins) can see every account, every vehicle and its history. They use this access only for those purposes and are bound to keep what they see confidential.
6. Accuracy, alerts and remote commands
- GPS, mobile networks, WhatsApp and e-mail can all fail or be delayed: a tracker may lose signal, a SIM card may run out of credit, a message may arrive late. Positions and alerts are therefore not guaranteed to be complete, exact or immediate.
- See-Curity is not an emergency service. In an emergency or a theft, call the police. The service does not replace insurance.
- Remote commands, such as cutting the engine, are sent on the User's own decision. Use them only when it is safe and lawful to do so. The Customer is responsible for the consequences of commands sent from its account.
- The AI assistant can make mistakes. Check important answers. It never changes anything without your confirmation.
- Engine cut-off is a last resort against theft. The User decides when to use it, must make sure it is lawful where the vehicle is, and should use it only when the vehicle can stop safely. The tracker refuses to cut above 10 km/h. As far as the law allows, neither See-Curity nor the tracker's manufacturer is liable for the consequences of a cut-off ordered from the Customer's account.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the platform available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may need to interrupt it briefly for maintenance or updates, and we try to do so at quiet times.
8. Fees
Fees, payment terms and the minimum period are those in the Customer's order or invoice, or agreed with our partner. If fees remain unpaid after a reminder, we may suspend the account until they are paid.
9. Our platform
We grant the Customer and its Users a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform for as long as the service runs. The software, design and content remain ours. Do not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or attempt to get around the platform's security, and do not overload it with automated requests.
10. Suspension and ending the service
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, in particular section 4, or that puts the platform or other customers at risk. Where we reasonably can, we warn the Customer first. The Customer may end the service as set out in its order.
If a partner or reseller sold you the service. See-Curity partners and authorised resellers sell, fit and support trackers in their area. The partner or reseller who sold you the service may suspend your access, for example when fees you owe them are unpaid; access returns as soon as they lift the suspension. Once a tracker has been handed over to you, your reseller sees only whether it is working, never its position or history. If your partner or reseller stops working with See-Curity, for any reason, your account, devices and history stay on the platform, and See-Curity, or another partner or reseller we appoint, may take over your service. We will tell you who that is.
11. Liability
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or the loss or theft of a vehicle or its load, or for loss caused by a failure of GPS, mobile networks, messaging services or other things outside our control.
- Otherwise, our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees the Customer paid us in those 12 months.
- If you are a consumer, these limits do not affect the rights the law of your country gives you.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, for example when the service or the law changes. We will ask you to accept the new version when you next sign in. If you do not agree, you may stop using the service.
13. Law
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live and may bring a claim there.
